A little about New Beginnings Breakup and Divorce Coaching...
Tamar Queen Barbash is an accredited breakup and divorce coach as well as a separated mother of three. Tamar has a passion for helping both men and women as they navigate their way through their divorce, a process that she hopes to make less difficult and traumatic than it often tends to be.
Tamar owns New Beginnings Breakup and Divorce Coaching, a practice that focuses on the opportunity to create a fresh start. Divorce affords the chance to rediscover ourselves and forge a new path forward. Though divorce is rarely what we envision for ourselves, it doesnβt mean it doesnβt come with exciting possibilities that we never even thought to imagine.
Tamar believes that if we shift our perspective on marriage, we can change our outlook on divorce. She works with clients to gain clarity around the ending of their relationships so they can regain control of their lives and figure out the next steps to get where they want to go.
Tamar is also the host of New Beginnings: A Marriage and Divorce Podcast where she explores the societal ideas around marriage and how they impact our feelings about divorce. The podcast also welcomes experts in the field to breakdown areas of anxiety around divorce like children and finances.
Certifications
Master of Social Work, Yeshiva University 2009

Testimonials
I have worked with Tamar Barbash for almost two years during a period of extreme transition; dealing with the hardest family problems and personal challenges.
I knew from our first conversation Tamar was the perfect coach for me. She quickly understood my situation and was insightful calm and wise with her advice. She was also practical and positive but would not shirk from giving the hard truth when necessary.
I have been blessed to have found Tamar as a coach and can recommend her with the highest praise and without qualification.
She is a consummate professional in all aspects of her work and I will forever be grateful for her part she has played in helping me during an exceptionally challenging period of my life. -Sarah*, 55
