A little about Stacy...
Front Porch Chats is a gentle space to sort through your questions about staying or leaving, especially if your marriage and faith community feel tangled together. This space allows you to chat with someone who has been there and is able to hear the thoughts that are heavy on your heart.
I divorced a pastor of a conservative Christian church in July 2024 after being married to him for 29 years. After spending five years in marriage therapy and thousands of dollars with two different therapists in two different states, I made the decision to set us both free. I seek to hold space for women who need to discern next steps in their decision process for their own marriages. I want to be the former pastor's wife that I needed while I worked through all of the things. Unfortunately, there was no one who could do that for me. Thankfully, I had many friends who helped as much as they could without being former pastors' wives themselves. My personal Instagram page is @iamjustacy
