The 3 Questions That Guide Every Business Decision

Running a business means making countless decisions—big and small—every day. It’s easy to get lost in the noise, chasing trends, or holding onto projects simply because you’ve already invested time in them. That’s why we believe every business needs a framework to fall back on.

For us, that framework is three simple questions:

  1. Are you having fun?
If a project, partnership, or idea drains your energy, it’s not sustainable. Fun doesn’t mean it’s always easy—but it does mean it sparks joy, creativity, or excitement that keeps you going. Sometimes something isn't converting the way you'd like but you're really enjoying it –  you can adjust to find a way to make it work or just continue on your path of joy and just have fun with the project!

  2. Does it match your values?
Every decision you make reflects your brand and shapes your reputation. If something doesn’t align with your values, it will eventually feel out of sync—no matter how successful it looks on paper.

  3. Is it working?
This is about results. Is your effort creating the impact you hoped for? Is it reaching the right people, building momentum, or supporting your goals? If not, it might be time to pivot or let it go.

These questions are deceptively simple, but they are powerful. They give clarity when you’re overwhelmed, help you prioritize what truly matters, and offer permission to release what no longer fits.

In business, success isn’t about doing it all—it’s about doing what works, what feels right, and what brings you joy. The rest can be left behind.
