A little about Nicole…
I've been an Esthetician for over 20 years and opened Illuminate 10 years ago. We offer all esthetic services including waxing, makeup, body scrubs/wraps, facials, dermaplaning, chemical peels and other advanced skin treatments. I added a Nurse Injector and started an esthetician school in the same space. Some of us have experienced divorce personally and we have supported many friends, family members, and clients through their journeys over the years and it means a lot to me to be there for people. I feel fortunate to be. When I heard your story and your creation of this community I thought we'd be a perfect fit. Facials offer people touch therapy as well as unprofessional talk therapy sometimes:D We help our clients feel confident, beautiful, healthy, safe. If nothing else they walk out with better brows and I think that helps;) I started the school to give more people the opportunity to do what I do because I love it so much. Giving people and means of independence is important to me and it's such a flexible, rewarding career. I would love to be a part of this community and help more people in need of some skin love or career change.
Certifications
I am licensed through the Department of Occupational Regulation (DPOR) as a Master Esthetician Instructor. My spa and school are also licensed through DPOR as well as the State Council of Higher Education in Virginia.
