Testimonials

"Our first conversation was an hour or two and it was in the beginning phase of separating from an abusive relationship. I felt unrecognizable to myself because I was in such a low and wrecked state full of fear, grief, rage (with nowhere safe to express it).

I knew within minutes of talking to The Mother Corp. that she understood exactly how I felt and what my words meant AND that both her wisdom and very caring and powerful presence were going to be huge resources. I think the combination of her lived experience of abuse, especially one with a child involved, as well as her intelligence, wisdom, deep empathy and compassion made her a god-send. She welcomed me with warm, open, protective arms.

We talked many times through my separation and divorce process. Her ability to effectively coach and provide support on navigating the family legal system and communicating with an abuser assisted me significantly. From day one, she also gave me excellent coping ideas.

The Mother Corp. is a rare gift in this world and I believe someone who is meant to be a guide for others." - Mother, Vancouver

"I wholeheartedly recommend Chavisa to anyone in search of a compassionate, supportive coach. Working with Chavisa has transformed my relationship with myself and those around me...I already feel more empowered and more clarity than I ever thought was possible.

After experiencing a trauma that I was unable to process, I certainly did not feel confident in making big decisions on my path forward. Chavisa gracefully helped me navigate my emotions and articulate my thoughts as we craft a roadmap of my needs for the future. She provides practical tools and beautiful imagery to help channel the difficult emotions. She provides a safe space as the big emotions surface and has helped me feel equipped when I face them alone.

In addition, Chavisa’s knowledge of motherhood has brought me such comfort and reassurance as I tackle being a first time mother who is going through a difficult time“ - Mother, USA

"I started working with Chavisa because her approach made sense to me. She clearly wants to support women in the midst of a crisis such as a divorce. She is ready to tackle such situations with informational sessions and timely recommendations that relieve that burden of undertaking this process alone.

Chavisa listened to my needs and helped me elaborate a plan on how to best approach my separation from different angles. I felt empowered and prepared to face the challenges that a divorce can bring.

I'd recommend Chavisa as she proved to be precise, responsible and offered applicable examples of how to manage the nuances of a separation. She also seemed to me like a person genuinely interested in cooperating and had a humanistic approach, I felt very seen and supported by her." - Mother, NYC
