How to Support Fresh Starts Registry (And the People Who Need It)
We get this question more than you might expect: I love what you're doing — how can I help?
It usually comes from people who've been through a divorce themselves. Who found Fresh Starts when they needed it, or wish they had. Who want to make sure other people can find it too.
This page is our answer.
Some of these take thirty seconds. Some take a little more. All of them are real, meaningful ways to support Fresh Starts Registry — and more importantly, the people we're trying to reach.
Become a Registry Fairy When someone going through a divorce builds a registry with us, we sometimes share it with our community of registry fairies — people who've said yes to gifting a stranger a fresh start. You don't know them. They don't know you. That's actually what makes it powerful. If you want to be on that list, just reply to this email and I'll add you.
Share the Divorce Resource Consult Know someone who's just been served, just told their kids, or just sitting with the weight of it all? Send them [the link to our free resource consult]. It's the fastest way to connect someone with real support.
Tell people about Divorce Guide Magazine We publish a free digital magazine full of articles from our expert community. Share it, post it, send it. We also have a print version, so if you want to see it on a shelf at your local library, call them and ask them to carry it. That request, coming from a community member, carries real weight. Here's how to ask→
Drop our resources where people need them If you're in Facebook groups, Reddit threads, or email lists where people are navigating divorce, share what we've made. A single comment from someone who's been through it reaches people in a way we never could — because many of these groups don't allow self-promotion, so we genuinely can't share our own resources there. If you can drop a link and add a note, that is one of the most helpful things you can do for us. Truly.
Here's what to share:
The Expert Directory — over 150 vetted divorce professionals
Pre-order our book when it's available Divorce Happens: A Compassionate Guide to Starting Fresh comes out in August 2027 with Sheldon Press/Hachette UK. Pre-ordering is one of the most meaningful things you can do for an author before a book is even out — it signals to booksellers that a book matters. When pre-orders open, we'll share the link. And when they do, please also ask your local library to carry it. Stay up date with the book by signing up for updates or just replying to this email and letting me know you want in!
Tell a professional about us Coaches, attorneys, mediators, therapists, financial advisors — if you know someone who works with people going through divorce, tell them about our expert directory. We're always looking to grow our network with people doing this work thoughtfully. They can learn more at HERE or come check out Tuesday Table first. Here is how to tell them about us →
Come to Tuesday Table Tuesday Table is our weekly professional networking Zoom — every Tuesday at 9:30 AM EST. It's not a support group, not a divorce space. It's a room full of professionals from all kinds of industries, connecting with each other. You don't have to be going through a divorce. You don't have to work in divorce. You just have to be a professional who shows up. Sign up here.
Just talk about us Word of mouth is still the most powerful thing. If Fresh Starts helped you — or you just believe in what we're doing — say so. To your friends, in your stories, in the caption of a post. You don't need a script. "This helped me and I think it'll help you" is the whole thing.
