The directory for every professional who helps people through divorce

Divorce doesn't end when the paperwork does. The people who come to Fresh Starts Registry are rebuilding — their homes, their finances, their routines, their sense of themselves. That work takes a whole team. Coaches, therapists, real estate agents, mortgage specialists, organizers, healers. If you show up for people in transition, there's a place for you in the Expert Guide.

We've built a community of 150+ vetted professionals across every category of divorce support. This is where the rest of the team lives.

Who belongs here

The Fresh Starts Expert Guide is home to a wide range of professionals who support people through divorce and life transition. The list below reflects some of who's already here — but it's not a ceiling. If your work helps people start fresh, we want to hear from you.

Life Coach The blank page is terrifying. You help people figure out what they actually want to write on it.
Transformation Coach Identity doesn't survive divorce intact — and that's not always a bad thing. You work with what's left and build something better.
Empowerment Coach Some people arrive having spent years being told they're too much, not enough, or both. You fix that.
Business Coach Divorce has a way of reshuffling professional priorities too. You help clients figure out what their work life looks like now.
Career & Resume Coach Re-entry, pivot, reinvention — whatever they're calling it, you help people walk back into the workforce like they mean it.
Trauma Coach Divorce is a loss event, and the body keeps score. You meet people where the work actually needs to happen.
Nervous System Coach When someone has been in survival mode for years, "just breathe" isn't enough. You know what is.
Mindset Coach The stories people tell themselves during divorce are often the hardest part. You help rewrite them.
Discernment Counselor Not everyone who lands here has already decided. You hold space for the hardest question of all.
Relationship Coach Dating after divorce, co-parenting after divorce, trusting people after divorce — none of it is simple. You know that.
Co-Parenting Specialist The marriage ended. The parenting partnership didn't. You help people figure out how to do it well anyway.
Children's Therapist Kids don't always have the words. You do — and you help families create space for what their children are actually carrying.
General Therapist Grief, rage, relief, guilt — sometimes all in the same afternoon. You're trained for exactly this kind of complexity.
Real Estate Agent Selling the house is never just selling the house. You understand that, and your clients feel it.
Mortgage Lender / CDLP One income, a complicated credit picture, and a timeline nobody planned for. You've seen it and you know how to help.
Organizer / Move Manager Dividing a life into boxes is its own kind of grief. You bring order — and a lot of quiet compassion — to the process.
Nutritionist / Dietitian Stress eating, forgetting to eat, eating the same sad thing for two weeks — you help people come back to their bodies.
Fitness Professional Movement is one of the few things that actually works when everything else feels stuck. You make it accessible.
Healer / Wellness Practitioner Reiki, sound, energy work, somatic release — for a lot of people, this is where the real shift happens.
Photographer A fresh-start portrait session is a small thing that isn't small at all. You help people see themselves again.
Parenting Coach Showing up as a present, regulated parent while your own life is mid-collapse takes real skill. You teach it.
Spiritual Counselor Divorce makes people ask the big questions. You're one of the few professionals trained to sit with the answers.
Something else entirely? If your work supports people through divorce, separation, or major life transition — in any capacity — there's very likely a place for you here. We review every application individually and we're genuinely open. Apply and tell us what you do.

What Fresh Starts Registry is

Fresh Starts Registry is the world's first divorce registry and expert ecosystem, founded in 2021 by sisters Olivia Dreizen Howell and Jenny Dreizen. Named by Forbes as the first divorce registry of its kind and featured in the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, and the Today Show. Our Expert Guide is a vetted, searchable directory of professionals across every dimension of divorce support — and our community comes to it specifically because they trust us to connect them with the right people.

We've built something that no other platform in this space has: a genuine ecosystem. Coaches refer to therapists. Attorneys refer to coaches. Real estate agents refer to organizers. Being in this network means you're not just listed — you're referred to.

What you get in the Expert Guide

Referrals Warm client referrals from Olivia

Our CEO Olivia Howell speaks with people navigating divorce every day and personally connects them with relevant experts. These aren't cold leads — they're people in the middle of a transition who are ready to get support.

Network Cross-referrals from 150+ aligned professionals

In a community this interconnected, the best referrals come from other members. Attorneys refer to coaches. Coaches refer to therapists. Therapists refer to real estate agents. Your next client is already working with someone else in this network.

Visibility SEO-optimised profile in the Expert Guide

Your listing is independently indexed, searchable by specialty and location, and free for anyone to access. No paywall between you and the client.

Frequently asked questions

My specialty isn't listed — can I still apply?

Yes — and we mean that. The categories above reflect who's already in the community, not who's allowed in. If your work supports people through divorce or life transition in any form, apply and tell us what you do. We review every application individually, and we'd rather have a conversation than have you talk yourself out of applying.

Do I need a certification or license?

Requirements vary by profession. What matters most is that you have relevant experience, a professional offering, and an approach that's aligned with our mission of supporting people through life transitions with competence and care.

Do clients pay to access the Expert Guide?

No. It's completely free for users. No paywall, no barrier between a client and your profile.

Is there a geographic restriction?

No. We have members across the US and internationally. Clients can search by location, and your profile can note whether you work in person, virtually, or both.

How does the press query process work?

When journalists come to us looking for expert voices on divorce, wellness, real estate, parenting, and life transition, we match them to relevant members. Premium members receive personal queries; Essential members may receive general ones. You respond if you can and want to — there's no obligation.

Can I upgrade from Essential to Premium later?

Yes, at any time. Email experts@freshstartsregistry.com and we'll get you switched over.
