A divorce therapist directory for clients who know they need support
The clients who find Fresh Starts Registry have already cleared a significant hurdle: they've acknowledged they're going through something hard, and they're looking for help. By the time they find the Expert Guide, they're not wondering if they need a therapist. They're wondering which one is right for them.
That's the kind of referral worth having.
What Fresh Starts Registry is
Fresh Starts Registry is the world's first divorce registry and expert ecosystem — a platform built around the belief that people navigating divorce deserve access to warm, vetted, values-aligned support across every dimension of the process. Therapists are foundational to that ecosystem. We've been featured in the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, the Today Show, and more — and our audience comes to us specifically because they trust us to connect them with the right people.

Frequently asked questions
What licensure do I need?
We accept licensed therapists, LCSWs, LMFTs, psychologists, and equivalent credentials across states and countries. We review each application individually.
I don't exclusively work with divorce clients. Is that okay?
Yes. Many of our therapist members have broader practices. What matters is that you have relevant experience and can serve clients going through divorce with competence and care.
How does the press query process work?
We receive inbound requests from journalists needing therapist perspectives on divorce, co-parenting, mental health, and life transitions. We match those to relevant members and send the query. Premium members receive personal queries; Essential members may receive general ones.
Is this a referral network or a directory?
Both, deliberately. Your profile is a searchable directory listing. But membership also puts you in a community of professionals who refer to each other, which is how the best referrals happen.
Can I list telehealth?
Yes. Your profile can note telehealth availability, states licensed in, and whether you see clients in person, virtually, or both.
