Charlotte is a sustainability and circular economy professional with deep expertise in recycling, waste management, and sustainable materials.

She’s created and launched recycling programs for the nation’s capital, educated Fortune 500 companies on sustainable packaging, and led the American Institute of Architects’ net zero carbon commitment. Currently, Charlotte leads the Plastics Industry Association's Operation Clean Sweep, supporting manufacturers, recyclers, and those that move material to achieve zero loss of plastic flake, powder, or pellet into environment.

Charlotte contributes thought leadership in the industry with her “Unpacking Recycling” video series for Waste360 and is on a mission to clear up recycling confusion on Twitter at @chardreizen. She is also a TRUE Advisor and pursuing her masters in Urban Planning at Georgetown University, focusing on sustainability.
