Navigating the Challenges of Divorced Families in Schools

A Free Workshop for Educators & Parents
with Lorraine Connell, Teen Leadership Coach & Olivia Howell, Fresh Starts Registry CEO & Cofounder

About the Workshop:

Divorce impacts more than just families—it affects classrooms, teachers, and entire school communities. Children of divorce often carry invisible challenges into their school day, and without the right support, they can fall through the cracks.

This essential free workshop brings together keynote speaker Lorraine Connell, teen leadership coach and educational expert, and Olivia Howell, co-founder of Fresh Starts Registry, life/divorce coach, and former middle school teacher, for a powerful conversation on how schools and families can better support children navigating divorce.

You’ll learn about:

  • The unique needs of divorced families in schools

  • Setting clear communication expectations between home and school

  • Tools to foster empathy, resilience, and stability for children
